The week of November 14th- 18th, the department, in collaboration with districts and schools across the state, will be celebrating the unique role early postsecondary opportunities (EPSOs) play in preparing students for college and career during the 7th annual EPSO Week.
EPSO Week will serve as a platform for schools and districts to spotlight and promote opportunities for students to earn college credit and/or certificates while in high school. In Tennessee, there are seven different types of EPSOs offered widely by districts.
The department encourages schools, educators, and districts to join in highlighting their work by sharing on social media using #EPSOWeek2022. Districts and schools can download the planning guide to support local efforts to promote EPSO Week events.

For #EPSOWeek2022 we decided to do student spotlights for those students who have obtained dual credit or an industry certification. Each students gave information on what they are doing with their chosen EPSOs now. They also gave some advice to current students!
