Dickson County Schools' CTE Program has had the honor of being recipients for 3 different grants. These grants have assisted in getting equipment for several of our programs. Future grants have the potential of changing and reshaping our CTE programs.
Grants DCS CTE has received thus far:
2020-21 : Received the Three Star Grant - $50,000 for CWHS Mechatronics and DCHS Project Lead The Way (Engineering)
2021-22 : Received the Three Star Grant - $50,000 for CWHS Welding
2021-22 : Received the GIVE 2.0 Grant - $695,000 for DCHS Nursing Services / Therapeutic Services and CWHS Therapeutic Services / Emergency Services.
2023-2026 : Received the Innovative School Model Grant- $ 4,000,000 total-

This grant will be used for improving space, time, modes of learning, advising, and mentoring. We have met with
directors, principals, coordinators, and teachers to create a plan for success.
2023-2024: Received the SPARC 4.0 Grant - $95,158 for CWHS Mechatronics II
These grants have the opportunity to not only grow our program as a whole, but to change our students' lives and career paths.

These grants have provided various equipment at both Dickson County and Creek Wood High School. Digital Electronics, welder, plasma cutter, anatomage table, ambulance simulator, and health science manikins are just a few items purchased with these grants to help our students have hands-on experiences while learning about their future careers.
