Work based learning

Work Based Learning allows students to apply classroom theories to practical situations, to explore career options, and to pursue personal goals. Ultimately, students may participate in Work Based Learning opportunities such as internships and clinical experiences within our local businesses and industries for an average of 6 hours per week while earning high school credit. Students have been known to be placed at local veterinary offices, humane society, police stations, schools, businesses and more!

Our Work-Based Learning students are juniors and seniors from both Dickson County High School and Creek Wood High School.
